Ordering Procedure

To begin the ordering process, please follow the guidelines below:

For Customized and Personalized Candles, Memorial Candles, Everlasting Candles, Wedding Candles and Hurricane Candles.

Step #1 Send an email requesting a design layout and quote and please include the following information: Size of candle, type of insert on top of candle, names, dates, poem/verse, font type, color scheme, photos or images you want included. With this information we will assemble a design layout for your review. Also include your name and a phone number where we can reach you if we have any questions regarding your request. Also include the date of the event, if applicable.

All candles are Customized and Personalized per your request. Text can vary in script style and color, choice is yours. It is your responsibility to read all text to verify the correctness of spelling. Customized & Personalized candles cannot be accepted for refund. Images are printed on an inkjet printer an embedded on the outside surface of the candle. Color choice for customized and personalized pillar candles and hurricane candles is White or Ivory only. Due to the process we use to customize and personalize our candles, metallic finishes and white/ivory images or text cannot be used.

There is no extra charge for number of characters or lines of text. If you would like to include a photo, there is a 5.00 additional charge for photo work if your photo is in digital format (jpg - jpeg image) and sent in email or if it is a Kodak print, cost is 7.50 which includes the scan upon receipt of your photo. Kodak print needs to be sent via US Mail (Frans Candles, P.O. Box 26037, Collegeville, PA 19426) and will be returned to you with your candle. If the design includes (picture/text) front and back of candle, there is a 2.00 additional charge for the back side of candle.

Email Notice: Due to many new Email Defense Solutions, Spam Filters and Junk Email programs set up by many Internet Email providers, if you do not get a reply from us within 1 - week of your request, please call 1-866-683-3044 to see if your request was received. Before calling, check your Junk email folder. The email reply with your quote and design layout request, will have links to direct you to a webpage to view your design layout.

Step #2 Upon receipt of your request we will assemble your design. If there is any question regarding the information you submitted, we will call. The completed design will then be posted on a customer layout web page. A link to the page will be included in my reply email with your quote. Customer needs to click on the link to review the design. Note that there may be several designs on a web page. You may need to scroll down the page to view your design.

Step #3 If changes are necessary, reply back to our quotation email.

Step #4 If design meets with your approval, follow instructions at top of customer layouts page.

After your acceptance of the design layout, return here to submit an Order Form. Link to Order Form is in box below.
Insert the description of your candle in the line under Description/Size/Type/Color/Scent area.
Example :

For Candles, ( Pillars and Special Shapes), Contact Fran prior to ordering. Unscented pillars will be made with special arrangements only. Call Fran at 1-866-683-3044 to discuss.

Complete balance of credit card information, mailing address, shipping address if different from mailing address, phone number and email address, then press SUBMIT. You may print a copy of your completed order form for your records prior to submitting.

All orders submitted will receive an Email confirmation (Email Confirmation is not processed automatically. It will be sent manually at a later point in time) which will include the cost as quoted and description of what you ordered. Shipping cost will be actual charges from the carrier.

Shipping and Handling: We will be using the United States Postal Service, "Priority Mail", to ship most of our products. You pay ACTUAL shipping charges which will be included in your credit card purchase. All packages will be shipped with a delivery confirmation, certain items will be insured.

Insurance: Certain types of Candles and Glass items may be shipped with insurance. The packages will be marked or labeled Insured by Post Office employees. If damage has occurred in shipment, customer is responsible to take package, product and form to local Post Office for processing. Return Policy: All of our candles are individually handmade and as with all handmade candles, no 2 items are alike. Customized & Personalized candles cannot be accepted for refund.
